Hillstream Loach

Hillstream Loach is a fascinating freshwater loach prized for its flat body, wide fins, and unusual appearance that resembles a tiny stingray. This species is a favourite among hobbyists who enjoy active bottom-dwellers and natural river-style aquariums, as it spends much of its time clinging to rocks, glass, and décor while grazing on biofilm and algae.

Unlike many common bottom fish, Hillstream Loaches do best in clean, mature tanks with strong oxygen levels and gentle to moderate current. Their calm nature makes them suitable for peaceful community setups, especially with small non-aggressive fish that enjoy similar water conditions.
